Fifth Semi-Final to be held at Mantorp

With the removal of Anderstorp from the WTCC calendar, V-WTCC also changes plans. While WTCC goes to San Marino , V-WTCC stays in Sweden to organize the last Semi-Final during the STCC season final at Mantorp Park .

On September 27 th 2008 this Semi-Final will take place. Even though the location of the event is the circuit of Mantorp, the virtual track on which the Semi-Final is driven remains Anderstorp.

The event promises to be quite a spectacular one, as not only the last tickets for the V-WTCC Grand Final can be claimed, but also because the race weekend on Mantorp plays hosts to the climax of the Swedish Touring Car Championship featuring cars driving in WTCC, like the BMW, Chevrolet and Honda, as well as cars unknown to it, like the Volvo C30.
